Parish Councillors donate allowances to Ukraine Humanitarian Fund
At the Hixon Parish Council meeting on 14th March 2022, Councillors resolved to donate all £200 from their remaining annual allowance to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.
Each Hixon Parish Councillor has a annual allowance of £50, a total of £400 for eight Councillors.
In this last year, Councillors chose to donate £200 to Katharine House Hospice and the remaining £200 to the Ukraine fund.
