3rd, attd. 1st Bn., North Staffordshire Regiment who died on 29th October 1914, aged 19.

Lionel was born at Wychdon Lodge on 25th July 1895. He was the only child of Allen Edward Hughes and Evelyn Emma (nee Plant).
