| E008/25 | Background: A decision was made by NJC/NALC/SLCC that “for the National Agreement Green Book (known as Green Book) with effect from 1st April 2023, the minimum paid annual leave entitlement is 23 days with a further 3 days after 5 years of service”. Consider the following, taking into account the advice from SPCA, SLCC and ALCC: Is the current Clerk’s employment contract a fully Green Book contract and as per the version in place at the time?If yes, Hixon Parish Council accepts that all amendments to Green Book contracts including the above amendment regarding holiday entitlement and any future NJC/NALC etc. Green Book amendments, apply to the current Clerk’s contract i.e. they are contractual amendments.Hixon Parish Council to be notified by the Clerk of any such future contractual amendments, as agreed at the meeting on October 20th.If no, which parts of the contract are considered to have been amended from the Green Book version and why, with evidence and justification provided. Is the above annual leave amendment valid for the Clerk’s contract? |
