Highways 

Hixon Parish Council is the link between the public and Staffordshire County Council Highways officers. The parish council raises issues with highways officers and seeks to make Hixon and the surrounding area a safer place for both drivers and pedestrians. The council welcomes public comment.

Highway Safety Proposals 08/11/13

Following months of discussions with Staffordshire County Council highways engineers, Hixon Parish Council is now able to host a public exhibition of road safety schemes. The exhibition will be on Saturday 23rd November in Hixon Memorial Hall between 10am and 4pm.

The first scheme will involve the construction of road narrowing features and road markings to create a safe walking section in High Street. Residents are invited to view and comment on the proposals. ....
