E008/23 | Working hours and days of the week to include any other employment or demands that may impact availability: The Clerk works variable hours throughout the day/days of the week and this will remain unchanged. Emails forwarded by the Clerk will have the title amended if necessary so that it relates to the content. The number of emails forwarded will kept to a minimum. For emails that need a reply to enable an action, the Clerk will contact the most appropriate councillor to form a proposal, send this out to council and give a time limit for comments. Proposal will be actioned (with any agreed amendments) after this date. |

E009/23 | Work load prioritisation and input by Councillors: Avoid contacting the Clerk at weekends unless urgent as she does not officially work at the weekend, the Clerk will also avoid sending emails out at weekend unless urgent. Occasional weekend work e.g. asset inspection on agreed days/times is acceptable. Minutes will be produced ASAP and an action list will be provided if thought necessary. | All | ||||
E010/23 | Hixon Parish Council internal communications; Emails, phone calls etc.: WhatsApp will be used as a prompt to read/respond to emails, reminders etc. rather than use of repeated emails. Clerk will need a smart phone to enable this. Calls/texts will also be used as appropriate, to minimise emails. Written responses are however required as an audit trail is necessary for delegated decisions and other matters. | Council | ||||
